Meet Me in Mohenjo Daro
Karachi Film School & Paramount Adventure Club present
SHOOT & RUN
Guerrilla filmmaking is the process of producing film using inexpensive equipment and with as little crew as possible. Because of its “shoot-and-run” philosophy, it has become a popular trend among struggling and established filmmakers who want creative freedom in telling stories that rock the world with sensitive and sometimes shocking themes.
We will ride to Mohenjo Daro - a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Notable heritage sites along the way and stopovers include Khairpur IRC, Kot Diji, Sachal Sarmast Tomb, Mityari, and the Ranikot Fort.
"Guerrilla tactics are the best. There is nothing wrong with spending a night in jail if it means getting the shot you need." Werner Herzog
2 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
There has always been a connection between travelling and storytelling. You will capture images of the places you visit and the people you meet along the way. You will return and screen videos and / or exhibit photographs of the places you visited and the people you met, and how they changed your perspective on the world. So, experience the athletic side of filmmaking between February 09 & 11.
