Meet Me in Mohenjo Daro

Karachi Film School & Paramount Adventure Club present

Guerilla Filmmaking

SHOOT & RUN

Guerrilla filmmaking is the process of producing film using inexpensive equipment and with as little crew as possible. Because of its “shoot-and-run” philosophy, it has become a popular trend among struggling and established filmmakers who want creative freedom in telling stories that rock the world with sensitive and sometimes shocking themes.

THE JOURNEY

We will ride to Mohenjo Daro - a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Notable heritage sites along the way and stopovers include Khairpur IRC, Kot Diji, Sachal Sarmast Tomb, Mityari, and the Ranikot Fort.

KOT DIJI FORT

The Kot Diji Fort sits above a pre-Harappan Civilization archaeological site dating to 2500 to 2800 B.C.E.

MOHENJO-DARO
Mohenjo-daro was one of the largest cities of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization developed around 3,000 BCE.
RANIKOT FORT

Ranikot Fort, also known as The Great Wall of Sindh, is believed to be the world's largest fort.

"Guerrilla tactics are the best. There is nothing wrong with spending a night in jail if it means getting the shot you need." Werner Herzog
